A Film Johnnie (1914)
Description: Charlie goes to the movie and falls in love with a girl on the screen. He goes to Keystone Studios to find her. He disrupts the shooting of a film, and a fire breaks out. Charlie is blamed, gets squirted with a fire hose, and is shoved by the female star.
Matango (1963)
Description: A group of friends are sailing on the yacht when a storm blows them off course and damages the boat. They soon land on a deserted island where they find a deserted, fungus covered wreck. They then find out that it was a research vessel examining the effects of radiation on plant and animal life.
However, they also discover a strange fungus dubbed Matango. They also find out that the crew ate some of the fungus and were somehow driven mad. The group then goes about trying to find food and water without succumbing to the lure of the mushrooms.
However, one by one they soon are driven by their hunger and desires to eat the mushrooms with disastrous effects.
Deadtime Stories (1986)
Description: A babysitting uncle tells his charges three horror stories, about a killer witch, Little Red Riding Hood and a werewolf, and a story about “Goldi Lox” and the three bears.
The Last Man on Earth (1964)
Description: Dr. Robert Morgan (Vincent Price) is the only survivor of a devastating worldwide plague, due to a mysterious immunity he acquired to the bacterium while working in Central America years ago. He is all alone now, or so it seems.
Machine Gun Mama (1944)
Description: Ollie and John are a long way from their home in Brooklyn when their truck breaks down. When they run into a fair, they decide to sell their only valuable possession. It’s an elephant with the name Bunny, and Ollie has grown really attached to him.
At the fair the ‘ferocious’ Nita Cordoba works and John falls in love with her, the feeling is mutual. Most employees of the fair are willing to buy Bunny, as the fair is in great commercial trouble and an elephant might just be the injection so barely needed.
Owner Jose, however, has different ideas. He’d rather see the fair go down as that will be more benificial to him.
